Overview of the SAT IV “980”
The SAT IV “980” is the latest model in the Accu-Tuner series, offering significant enhancements for users who require extensive tuning storage. This new model features 980 pages of memory dedicated to user tuning storage, which is more than double the capacity provided by the Standard Model SAT IV .
Enhanced Memory Allocation and availability for User Tunings
In the SAT IV “980”, memory that was previously reserved for the Help Menu and Inventronics’ Generic FAC Tunings has now been reallocated. This change makes a greater portion of memory available for user storage, providing users with increased flexibility and more space to store their own tuning configurations.
Inventronics Generic FAC Tunings Access
Although the Inventronics Generic FAC Tunings are no longer stored in a protected area of memory in the SAT IV “980”, they remain accessible. Users can still include and install these tunings when purchasing the SAT IV “980”. Furthermore, the Inventronics Generic FAC Tunings are supplied as a file with every SAT IV or SAT IV “980” device, ensuring continued access to these resources.
Adding FAC Tunings with Piano Manager
Using the Piano Manager program which comes with every SAT IV purchase, users are able to add the Generic FAC tunings to their SAT IV “980” at any time. These tunings can be imported either individually or collectively as a group, allowing for convenient and flexible management of Inventronics’ Generic FAC tunings
Included Software and Documentation
Each SAT IV “980” comes with a disk containing valuable resources, including manuals, the Piano Manager software program, the Updater program, and other related materials to support users in their tuning tasks.
Changes to the Help Menu
The Help Menu, previously featured in earlier models, has been removed from the SAT IV “980”. Based on feedback and experiences shared by SAT IV users over the years, the Help Menu was rarely utilized. If you are someone who has used the Help Menu, please reach out and share your experience.
