Al Sanderson’s Piano Scaling Formulas
The Tension and iH sheet is for plotting the T and iH values for each note.
The two ‘Specifications’ pages can be used for notating the scale removed from the piano.

Of course you’ll need to be able to enter the formulas into a spreadsheet (or four!). Separate spreadsheets is how I did it. 1. Plain wire; 2. Bichords; 3. Trichords; and 4. Single wound bass strings.
At that time (1985?), I was using Lotus 123. But now that 123 is no more, and since I’m not rescaling pianos these days, I’ve not entered them into Excel.
I thought these might be available somewhere on line, but I couldn’t find them. So, I decided to dig out my own copies and post them for those who might be interested.
