CONRAD 35 Tunings

If you have a SAT II, SAT III or SAT IV and the Piano Librairian Software:

Download the tunings in the Piano Librarian format. Once you have the tunings downloaded, you will be able to open the (.sat) file with Piano Librarian and load them into your Accutuner thru the MIDI connections on your SAT II or SAT III. (Until now, the Piano Librarian Software has been sold separately. But the latest version of the Piano Librairian software is now included with the purchase of every SAT IV).

If you don’t have a SAT II or SAT III or SAT iV, and/or don’t have the Piano Librairian software:

You can still access the tunings by downloading the Excel spreadsheet version of the file. Once you have them downloaded you should be able to open the file with Excel and then if desired, enter them into your SAT using the manual method which is described in your SAT Instruction Manual. (You may be able to manually enter the tunings into other electronic tuning devices as well) Just make sure you set the correct partials and cents settings for each note being tuned.

These are 35 of the 198 tunings I have in the memory of my SAT III. I will write more later as to their suggested use and tweaking. But for starters the partial change locations in these tunings is the biggest difference you might notice from other memory tunings or other ‘computer generated’ tunings: A0 – G#2 uses the 6th partials; A2 – A4 uses the 4th partials; A#4 – B5 uses the 2nd partials; and C6 – C8 uses the fundamentals.
